I hate this part, it always seems to blow at the worst possible time on every xj I've ever had. I always replace with this crown part and never had an issue. I'm in PA so winters def get cold but if I lived somewhere warm all year I'd probably just bypass it.

Excellent replacement part for my 91 Jeep Comanche. The one I replaced was completely brittle and the plastic tube cracked inside the rubber hoses. Currently no leaks and is working perfectly

Went in without a hitch. Heater works, coolant is flowing the way it needs to; no issues. I will update in ~6 months.
Install & Test Time: 25 minutes.
Probably would have been a 15 minute install & test but, my old valve broke apart during uninstall.
