Crown Automotive Matte Black Fender Flare Reviews
Do Not Buy. Not an OEM style replacement. Matte black finish is painted on. Very disappointed.
Not recommended. Crown products are normally very reliable but I can't recommend these flares. I bought left and right rears and they looked good coming out of the box - very acceptable match to the 20+ year old front flares. I did get a few smudges of anti seize on them in the process of installation but when I touched them with a rag wetted with rubbing alcohol to clean them up the textured matte finish instantly began smearing. 10 minutes later I had a smooth, glossy black flare. These are fine if you intend painting them, but if you need a matte finish these are not reasonable replacements. No precautionary info comes with them, so if you get road tar on them be prepared for a disappointment when you try to clean them. I'm now looking for used OEM's to replace them.
