Crown Automotive 4720363 Oil Filter Adapter O-Ring Kit for 93-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ and Grand Cherokee ZJ with 4.0L Engine

Fixes the dreaded oil filter adapter leak on the 4.0. A bit of a job getting the unit off though. Lots of good youtubes from fellow XJ owners made this easy to do. But be ready, it's tight quarters on that side of the engine. No more leaks!

The product worked like it should on my 1999 Cherokee XJ. Only issue is that the largest o-ring was not as snug as I would have perferred. It stopped my oil filter adapter from leaking.

With Quadratec's price, customer service and Crown quality you are wasting your money buying kits anywhere else. I have two Mopar kits p/n 0472 0363-001 and six of these Crown kits. For the price difference: you can buy 5 Crown kits from Quadratec for less then 1! kit from Mopar- your neighborhood friendly and generous dealer. So I am thinking once a year during a oil and filter change just R&R the filter adapter and replace the o-rings as maintains. That way you shouldn't have to deal with a leaking filter adapter.
