Is the bumper and the end caps in gloss black?
The Bumper: The steel bumper itself is finished in a semi-gloss or "satin" black paint. While it has a slight sheen, it is generally not a high-mirror "gloss black" finish unless custom-painted.
The End Caps: These are made of plastic and feature a textured black finish. They are meant to match the unpainted plastic trim found elsewhere on the XJ (like the fender flares) and are not gloss black.
