Daystar 3/4" Front Leveling Coil Spring Spacers for the Jeep Wrangler JL 2dr & Unlimited JL 4dr are a perfect front lift method that works within the factory's design parameters to increase ride height and level the stance of your Jeep. This kit is a simple solution to improve ride quality, get more ground clearance, and enable you to run larger tires and wheels, while reducing noise and vibration. This kit is a safe economical way to lift your Jeep Wrangler with coil springs. The coil spring spacers are made of durable polyurethane so when installed there will be no metal on metal contact. Can I use this with the Quadratec 3.5" Lift on my Gladiator to level out the rake?
Technically, you can use the Daystar 3/4" Front Leveling Kit with your existing Quadratec 3.5" Lift Kit, but there are important safety and mechanical considerations before you proceed.
Compatibility and Stacking
Adding a small spacer like this is a common way to "fine-tune" a Jeep's stance after adding heavy front-end accessories (like a steel bumper and winch) that cause the nose to sag.
Stacking Spacers: Stacking a small polyurethane spacer on top of a lift spring is generally considered safe if the total additional height is minimal (under 1 inch). The Daystar spacer is made of high-density polyurethane and sits securely at the top of the coil spring bucket.
Geometry Changes: Adding 0.75" to an already 3.5" lift brings your total front lift to 4.25 inches. At this height, your front axle will shift slightly toward the driver's side. If you don't already have an adjustable front track bar, you will likely need one to recenter the axle.
Shock Length: Ensure your shocks have enough "down-travel" (extension). If your shocks are already at their limit with the 3.5" lift, adding more height could cause them to "top out" over bumps, which can damage the internal seals.
Important Recommendation
If you decide to install these, it is highly recommended to perform a professional alignment immediately afterward. Even a small 3/4" change in height can affect your caster angle and toe-in, which might lead to "flighty" steering or uneven tire wear.

I'm trying to decide if this is a 'shop project' or a home project. Would you post the instructions?
Unfortunately, Daystar has not provided us a PDF file of their instructions. However, these are a fairly easy install, and there are many YouTube videos of step-by-step instructions for installing leveling kits that are non-brand specific.

Do I need new shocks or coil springs with this kit?
No. These will most often be used to bring the front end higher in cases that excess weight from winch bumpers has the Jeep with more nose dive or rake than visually preferred. If they are used along with aftermarket coil springs you will want to make sure your shock lengths can handle to full amount of travel from the coil spring with the spacer. Thanks for your inquiry.
