Switching between white and amber is super easy, and they’ve held up impressively with no humidity issues, whether in the desert heat of Moab or -40° cold. Installation was hassle-free, and their durability and performance are top-notch. If you want headlights that are versatile and built to last, these are an excellent choice!

Here's how it works:
Enhanced High Beam: When you activate your high beams, the Elite Series headlights automatically engage their "off-road function," which provides a wider and further reaching beam pattern compared to the standard high beam. This extra illumination is designed to help you see obstacles and terrain better when you're off the pavement.
No Separate Switch: There isn't a dedicated switch or button to turn this off-road enhancement on or off independently of the high beams. It's integrated into the high beam operation.
Regarding your lack of AUX switches:
The installation of the Diode Dynamics DD5166 Elite LED Headlights themselves does not require the use of AUX switches. They are designed to be a plug-and-play replacement for your factory headlights, utilizing the existing headlight wiring harness.
The installation instructions provided by Diode Dynamics will guide you through this process using the standard headlight wiring.
Nt having AUX switches in your Gladiator will not make the installation of the Diode Dynamics DD5166 Elite LED Headlights more difficult. The off-road function is tied to the high beams and doesn't require separate wiring to an AUX switch for activation. You will still benefit from the enhanced off-road lighting whenever you use your high beams.
