Place to store backpack and laptop when no doors or top. Check.
Able to remove or lay flat to utilize entire cargo space with out tools. Check. Does it in seconds.
Secure enough to keep honest people honest. Check .
This isn't going to stop a determined thief, but it will take then a while with a crowbar. Tail gate locked keeps everything secure.
