Havoc Offroad HS2 Double Hoop Step Reviews
These are well built and the fit was perfect. I installed by myself in just over 1 hr, which included removing the factory rock skis on the Rubicon. I do wish that Havoc would modify these to fit with the Rubicon rock skis in place. I’m actually going to remove the steps and reinstall the rock skis and modify the steps myself. They are VERY close to fitting with the rock skis in place as they are, and the mod will be pretty easy. Overall, I’m really pleased with the steps.
These are very well built, and came well packaged. No damage at all in transit. They fit beautifully and look great. They are exactly what I was looking for. They seem very sturdy, and appear as if they will last a long time. Being frame mounted, instead of body-mounted, they feel very secure. It took about an hour per side to install them, including removing the stock Rubicon rock rails. It would be easier to have an assistant to support one end while fitting up the other end, but I used a floor jack and my knee, and that worked just fine. Everything lined up perfectly, and they slid into place with only minor jiggling. If you have to remove the stock Rubicon rock rails, you will need a 10 mm socket, and a 13 mm socket. To install these side steps, you will need a 16 mm (5/8") socket.
They are Bentley approved!
