Description
Kleinn Automotive has released the 6450WP, the only waterproof 12-volt air compressor for automotive applications. Kleinn re-engineered their heavy-duty, high output 6450RC air compressor to make it not just water resistant, but waterproof. Added seals and gaskets have resulted in a new compressor that can stand up to the abuse of off road travel and being mounted under the truck in extreme weather conditions. The 100% duty-cycle compressor is rated at 150 PSI and includes a snorkel air intake system with filter to locate the air intake up and away from dirt, water and debris insuring years of trouble free service.

The description suggests that this is waterproof, but in the installation instructions it reads: "This compressor is moisture & dust resistant, but is not waterproof or dustproof. Do not install in areas exposed to excessive water or dirt." Is it waterproof?
This Kleinn #6450RCWP compressor is waterproof. The instruction listed are for the Klein #6450RC which is not waterproof, but both kits install the same way.
