MasterTop Freedom Mesh Bimini Top Plus Reviews
I purchased this top for my 2025 Ford Bronco 4-Door (having the roof panels off is great, but you’ve got to have some UV shade to avoid cooking yourself and the interior in the summer). Bottomline up front, I’m generally very happy with the top and it appears to be reasonably decent in terms of overall quality. Installation is more or less straightforward, though the rear strap attachments took a bit to understand how they are supposed to be positioned. (Pay particular attention to the red arrows in the instructions and you should be able to orient the straps correctly.)
Pro: Once installed the UV shade offers an excellent balance of open-air feel, with just the right amount of protection to stay comfortable. It looks good and does not have to be removed if you want to put the panels back on.
Con: Fitment is a bit off (loose) on the front windshield hook straps, but I suspect this was done intentionally because you will have to move the straps out of the way (not the whole top) to reinstall the front panels (something that I figured out through trial and error); the front side strap hooks are definitely on the low-grade end of things; and it’s a bit tricky manipulating the top’s latches to reinstall the panels with the shade in place, though it’s definitely very doable
All in all, this top is more than worth the price and offers a greatly enhanced experience when the roof panels are not installed.
The top was easy enough to put on but unless I did something wrong, its impossible to put the front panel back on with the windshield hooks in. The back and backseat panels went back on with a little encouragement. But the front panels would not fit back in with the hooks in. I had to unhook them and then was able to re-install the front panels. I am looking forward to taking the top off now that the weather is warming up.
