what is the different between HEX and BOLDGED HEX.
The main difference between McGard Hex and Bulged Hex lug nuts for your Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT lies in the size of the seating surface that contacts the wheel.
Choose Bulged Hex if you are using your factory Jeep wheels. Many original equipment wheels have a wider seating area, and a "bulge" nut provides better weight distribution and prevents the nut from sinking too far into the wheel.
Choose Standard Hex only if your aftermarket wheels have very narrow lug nut bores where a bulged nut might not fit.
