Work for 1991 yj 2.5 engine?
No, this sensor will not work on a 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a 2.5L engine. Part number 5149077AB is designed for much newer Jeep and Chrysler vehicle applications and is incompatible with the engine management and threading specs of a 1991 YJ 2.5L.
This sensor fits the following Jeep applications:
Jeep Wrangler JK (2008–2018): Compatible with 3.8L and 3.6L engines.
Jeep Wrangler JL (2021–2022): Compatible with the 6.4L V8 (Rubicon 392).
Jeep Grand Cherokee (2008–2024): Compatible with select 3.7L, 4.7L, 5.7L, and V8 performance engines.
Jeep Liberty (2008–2012): Compatible with the 3.7L V6.
Jeep Commander (2009–2010).
It is not compatible with older legacy models like the YJ, TJ, or older XJ engines.
