I am remove the steps when I go off road
I like them very much easy to install
Mine came with a small amount of damage (and all the hardware was missing) but hey its a jeep so i don't really care. I had to cut the front of the bar on the passenger side with a steel saw in order for it to fit my 4xE. There is a piece of metal that juts down behind the front passenger wheel that gets in the way of the rail. Its only off by about half an inch or so but its just enough so that the holes don't line up.
