When used with the optional OVS crossbars, the weight ratings are as follows:
Static Weight Capacity: 750 lbs (The weight the cap can hold when the vehicle is parked).
Dynamic Weight Capacity: 325 lbs (The weight the cap can safely carry while the vehicle is in motion).
Installation Note
While this cap is designed for a no-drill installation using a clamping system, keep in mind that the unit itself is heavy (approximately 230–250 lbs). Adding a 150 lb roof top tent will bring your total bed-rail load to around 400 lbs, which is well within the Gladiator's payload capacity but may affect your center of gravity during off-road maneuvers.
