Quadratec QRC Drop Steps Reviews
This is 2026 and I bought a 2010 JK Wrangler with Nerf bars that were rusted out and looked terrible. I installed these Quadratec QRC drop steps and they look great. I removed the Nerf bars which was a little bit of a chore due to them being on there for 16 years. After removing them the new drop steps were easy to install. I didn't have a helper so I used a motorcycle lift to lift them into place. The instructions were pretty easy to follow after removing the old ones and knowing where things went. All the hardware was there and installation wasn't difficult at all. The power coating looks great and they are solid when I use them to step inside the Jeep. I have a Gladiator that I'm ordering a set for next.
Love them now that they are on. I removed the stock Rubicon rock rails, so I had a basic understanding of how the new ones would attach. The problem was that the bolts for the pinch welds were not long enough -- the bolts only half threaded into the nuts or couldn't even connect in the first place. I thought I was doing something wrong and It took me too much time to figure that out because the instructions aren't great.
