Material
At first I was excited about this top it’s always out of stock. Installation was ok, instructions as normal aren’t great. The new bar mounts that bolt to door surrounds could use improvement. There are already two holes drilled from the factory mount but you can’t use them you have to over size new holes which two are close to the old ones but not enough. Windshield portion needs improvement as well where you screw the new deck to the channel the holes again don’t quite line up leaving the seal wavy I had to elongate a few holes to flatten it out. Now for the biggest issue which brings this to a one star is the rear zipper on the rear window. It stops about 2 inches above the tailgate area leaving a gaping hole which is covered by a Velcro section but does not seal at all what so ever. First rain everything in my cargo area was soaked ruining my subwoofer box and soaking all my gear and tools. I made a call to Quadratec the same day I noticed the issue and sent pictures with descriptions and was told I would probably need new top and window. Calling customer service is painful to 1.5 hours to reach someone the first time. 4 days later I called back and waiting on hold for another 1.25 hours to talk to another person and they were helpful but agreed a new top may be needed but they are now out of stock. I asked why I wasn’t notified and was told an email was sent but I checked and it was not. It’s rained almost every day since so I have a tarp covering my lj and unable to drive it ever since. Day 6 and still no answers.
