What kind of zippers do these doors have, metal or plastic? If they are plastic will they hold up? My current doors have plastic zippers and they keep separating and simply are not durable.
The QuadraTop Upper Door Skins utilize heavy-duty plastic zippers with jam-resistant teeth, similar to the original factory design. While your current experience with plastic zippers has been frustrating, it is important to note that most high-quality soft top manufacturers (including Mopar and Bestop) use plastic/nylon teeth rather than metal for specific performance reasons.
Separating zippers are usually caused by excessive tension or worn-out zipper pulls (sliders) rather than the teeth themselves.
Improved Design: The QuadraTop skins use a heavy scoop-count design intended to interlock more securely than cheaper generic replacements.
The Fit Factor: These skins are known to fit very tightly. If you find your zippers are separating, it is often because the fabric hasn't been warmed up enough during installation, causing the teeth to pull apart under extreme stress.
Maintenance: To prevent separation, we recommend using a zipper lubricant (like a dedicated zipper stick) to ensure the sliders move smoothly without forcing the teeth out of alignment.

No, these are specificly for the the 1997-2006 Jeep TJ.
