The TeraFlex Rear Wide CRD60 Semi-Float Axle Housing with Pro LCG Truss, & 5x5.5 Bolt Pattern is a direct bolt-on upgrade for TJ Wrangler owners looking to replacing weakened, strained, or damaged stock rear axle in TJ Wrangler and Rubicon vehicles. The heavy-duty TeraFlex TJ Wide Rear CRD60 Semi-Float Axle Housing provides maximum protection, performance, and durability for the TJ Wrangler, while the exclusive Constant Radius Design (CRD) provides high ground clearance that is unaffected by pinion angle adjustments. The CRD60 Semi-float axle design and 5x5.5” wheel bolt pattern is constructed to conquer the utmost Off-Road conditions. The CRD60 Axle is equipped with features that include a heavy-duty housing with heavy-duty axle tubes and bearing caps, high-flow oil passages, bracketry, seamless lines, and increased cover mounting area. Pre-installed seals and upper control arm bushings make the upgrade perfectly consistent. This CRD60 Axle is Compatible with all Super 60 gear ratios for extreme duty applications requiring additional ring and pinion strength.

I currently have a Dana 44 rear. Will this work or will I need additional parts?
Transitioning from a factory Dana 44 to the TeraFlex 3320100 Rear CRD60 Semi-Float Axle Housing is a massive upgrade, but because it is an unloaded housing built around heavy-duty architecture, you will need several additional parts to make it functional.
Key parts and changes required include:
Ring & Pinion, Carrier, & Locker: This part number is an unloaded housing. You will need to purchase a compatible Super 60 ring and pinion gear set, carrier, and locker separately.
Wheel Bolt Pattern Change (5x5.5"): This axle features a 5x5.5" wheel bolt pattern rather than your factory TJ Dana 44 pattern (5x4.5"). To match this, you will need new 5x5.5" wheels or wheel adapters for the front to match the rear.
Brakes: The housing includes a Ford/TeraFlex rear disc brake conversion kit, but ensure your parking brake cables and brake lines are compatible or adapted.
Driveshaft: It comes with a 1350 series pinion yoke, so you will likely need a compatible 1350 driveshaft companion flange or custom driveshaft length depending on your lift.
