A good quality fairlead. I was a tad disappointed that it did not come with any mounting hardware, but thankfully the bolts from my previous fairlead fit the threads on this one. All in all, I'm pleased work with it.
Questions
Unlike aluminum hawse fairleads, which are "exclusively" designed for synthetic rope to prevent heat buildup and abrasion, roller fairleads are the traditional standard for steel cable because the moving rollers reduce friction and prevent the metal-on-metal "sawing" effect.
