Rough Country 10552 Cold Air Intake System for 91-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ with 4.0L Engine
High-Flow Intake: By reducing intake restriction, the Rough Country Cold Air Intake System increases horsepower and overall engine performance. Cool dense air creates better combustion with more oxygen.
Vehicle Specific Design: The Rough Country Cold Air Intake System was engineered for use with XJ model Cherokees that are equipped with the 4.0L inline six-cylinder engine.
Reusable Filter: Unlike the factory paper air filter, the oiled filter that is included in this kit can be cleaned and reused. This keeps servicing costs low, and makes for a long-lasting performance upgrade.

Fit perfect on my 98 XJ, love the sound she makes when I lean into the gas. Noticable bump on power and fuel mileage.
Yes along with the other reviewers this is not an exact fitting aftermarket piece. With a little negotiating and drilling your own holes it goes in fine. Doe what it says it will do and sounds great! Can’t beat it for the price, over $300 for the K&N and does the same thing. If you own a XJ then you already know how to turn a wrench and modify stuff! 2000 XJ Cherokee Classic owner.
