Vehicle Specific Design: The Rough Country Cold Air Intake System was engineered for use with TJ model Wranglers that are equipped with the 4.0L inline six-cylinder engine.
High-Flow Intake: By reducing intake restriction, the Rough Country Cold Air Intake System increases horsepower and overall engine performance. Cool dense air creates better combustion with more oxygen.
Reusable Filter: Unlike the factory paper air filter, the oiled filter that is included in this kit can be cleaned and reused. This keeps servicing costs low, and makes for a long-lasting performance upgrade.

Rough Country Cold Air Intake System Reviews
It went in with much of a fight. Was missing some of the "included" bolts and had to replace all of the hose clamps. The slightest torque had the bolt head press thru into the worm drive part of the clamp so some wouldnt tighten properly. Review the instructions you provide. its all 8mm and 10mm and the sheet says 6mm. BUT,
It does seem to work. Not as much bogging or struggle when in O/D or climbing. Still waiting on fuel numbers.
If your air temperature sensor is connected to the air tube, this item doesn't have that hole for that sensor
I mistakenly ordered this kit for the 2.5 liter motor. After realizing my mistake during the holiday I ordered the correct 4.0 kit. During the installation I notice the clamps for the intake connection to the throttle body were too large and the rubber sleeve was ill fitting. Out of curiosity I looked the 2.5 parts, and realized those were the correct parts. Now I cannot return the the first kit due to using parts out of it. Very disappointed.
