Rough Country Roof Rack System for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

For corrosion resistance and longevity, Rough Country finishes their Rack System in a tough black powder coat. The rack system is compatible with both 2 and 4 door models, and has a 250lb maximum carrying capacity.
For Use with Factory Hardtops Only
Bolt-On Installation: No cutting, drilling, or other modifications are required in order to install the Rough Country Roof Rack System. The front mounts clamp to the hardtop drip rail, and the rear bolts onto the liftgate hinge mounts. On 4-door models, this rack will not obstruct the install and removal of the Freedom Panels.
Integrated Light Mounts: The Rough Country Roof Rack System features built-in LED light mounts. The front of the rack fits a dual-row 50in bar, and the rear has accommodations for two 2in cube lights.
Weight Rated: The Rough Country Roof Rack System has a maximum weight capacity of 250lbs.
LED Lighting: If you select the version of this rack that comes with Rough Country Black Series LED Lights, then you will receive a dual-row 50in LED light bar for the front, and a pair of 2in LED cube lights for the rear. With a combined power of over 25,000 lumens, you will be able to dominate the night.

Rough Country Roof Rack System Reviews
The racks is solid and works well. Wasn’t difficult to install but as others have said, the instructions weren’t the best. I purchased the accompanying lighting kit. Lots of light when this puppies are turned on. I used the lights a number of times, but not for long periods of time. The one time I did use the front light bar for two hours, it cooked the relay and the factory connections. While the factory connections and relay look clean and heavy enough for the load, they aren’t capable for extended periods of time. I’ll have to replace the relay and redo all the connections. I only gave it four stars because of this. Limited use would probably be fine. Heavy use, no.
I've seen other reviews for this rack that talk about the instructions. Yes, the instructions are difficult to understand for sure and the pictures make them worse if anything. That being said, so far this has been an awesome addition to my JKU. I was looking for an affordable rack that didn't require any permanent modifications to my Jeep. I'll post updates if something changes, but so far I'm very content with this rack.
