Description
This combo from Skyjacker allows you to carry a full sized spare tire on your factory tire mount, without worrying about damaging your tailgate or hinges. Skyjacker designed this kit to be able to hold any spare tire from 33-37" with a wheel backspace of 4-5.5". It is constructed from rugged steel plate, and finished in an attractive gloss black powdercoat. The Tailgate Saver helps eliminate that stress and vibration by providing added support under the spare tire when tailgate is closed. Tailgate Saver easily installs using existing holes and is completely adjustable.

The install went fine but it did nothing for my rattle and vibrations due to my spare tire. The relocate bracket moves the tire out farther from the tailgate putting more stress on the gate. The tailgate saver piece just flexed along with tire. Needless to say I returned it for the Rugged Ridge Spartacus HD which is perfect. No vibration or rattle whatsoever.
