Spectre Performance Air Intake Kit Reviews
Great product! Really like it. Gives the truck the added air supply it craves.
Good product for the money, found it easier to attach the filter first to the bulb seal and then put the bulb seal through the heat shield. Actual install time was 1 hour start to finish. Definitely have noticed improvement in the acceleration and low to midrange power band on my 4.0. And as always Quadratec did a great job packing and shipping the product, and got the parts delivered in a timely manner.
Did not fit my 96 XJ. Too tall and top hole did not line up. Box was taller than the top hole in the frame of the vehicle. Also set to tall to properly close hood, even with it box bolted to bottom. My assumption is that it probably was designed for a 1997-2001 XJ. I found people online who had the same issues with models older than 1997. Now sending it back. Someone at Spectre needs to do their homework. Also Spectre sent a paper in the box stating that if you have any issues to call Spectre and not the supplier. I called and double checked the phone number and they said this is not a working number.
