This is a cool upgrade. I am going to minus a star because you cannot see the thing wearing polarized glasses.
Questions
ERIC K.
Can you use this as a regular rear view mirror. I don’t care about the back up camera as I already have one built In. Injustice want a factory looking mirror with a built in camera for front recording.
Yes, you can use the Stinger Off-Road 9.66" 4K RearView DVR Monitor Mirror as a standard reflective glass rear-view mirror.
The display screen can be turned off completely via the power button or touch settings, allowing the unit to function as a conventional optical rear-view mirror when you aren't using the monitor. Because the front camera is built directly into the housing facing forward, it will continue to capture front-facing dash cam and DVR recordings seamlessly even when the display screen is turned off or being used in reflection mode. You are not required to wire or look at the rear camera feed if you prefer to rely on your factory backup camera.
