The TeraFlex rear axle bracket passenger shock mount is precision laser cut from 3/16” steel and accurately formed to ensure proper positioning for correct suspension geometry. Item is available in raw steel and is ready to be welded on and painted. Designed for Dana 44 or Dana 60 axles with 3" diameter axle tube.

Are these oem style brackets?
No, the TeraFlex 3990242 Rear Passenger Shock Mount is not an OEM-style bracket. While it mounts in the same general location as the factory bracket, it is a heavy-duty performance upgrade rather than a direct stock replacement.
Material Strength: This bracket is made from 1/4" thick CNC laser-cut steel, which is significantly thicker and more rigid than the thin stamped steel used for factory Jeep TJ mounts.
Design Profile: It features a streamlined, high-clearance design. Factory mounts often hang low and act as "rock anchors"; the TeraFlex version is tucked tighter to the axle tube to prevent snagging on obstacles.
Axle Fitment: It is specifically contoured for the larger 3-inch diameter tubes found on Dana 44 and Dana 60 axles. A standard OEM bracket for a TJ often comes sized for the smaller Dana 35 axle.
