What is Included
This housing is designed as a heavy-duty upgrade for owners who already have a Rubicon and want to reuse their existing internal components. It comes pre-assembled with:
Inner Axle Shafts: High-strength 32-spline 4340 chromoly inner shafts are already installed.
HD Ball Joints: TeraFlex heavy-duty greaseable ball joints are pre-installed into the forged inner knuckles.
Differential Cover: Includes a TeraFlex heavy-duty ductile iron cover for added protection.
Seals and Bushings: Features pre-installed inner axle seals and upper control arm bushings.
What You Must Provide
To make this a functional axle, you are expected to transfer the following parts from your factory Rubicon axle or purchase them separately:
Differential Internals: You must supply your own Ring & Pinion gears and the Locker (either the factory e-locker or an aftermarket unit).
Outer Components: You will need to reuse your factory knuckles, unit bearings, stub shafts, brakes, and ABS sensors.
Yoke: The input yoke for your driveshaft is not included.
Why Upgrade to This Housing?
Massive Strength: It features 3.25" x 0.5" wall tubing, which is drastically stronger than the factory Rubicon housing to prevent "axle tube smile" (bending) when running large tires.
CAD Delete: This housing eliminates the Center Axle Disconnect (CAD) system found on standard JL/JT models, using a single-piece passenger-side shaft for maximum reliability
. Reinforced Brackets: All suspension brackets are constructed from 1/4"-thick CNC laser-cut steel and are fully welded.
