Perfect for the summer! I have the door surrounds so I think it encapsulates the cabin better than if you don’t have the door surrounds. I use this with a tonneau cover over the rear and a wind deflector. And those close it up good enough for Ohio summers!

Does the header require any drilling? Does the header have to be removed in order to put the hard top back on?
The header channel will not require drilling. The header channel will need to be removed before a hardtop or factory soft top can be installed. Thanks for your inquiry.

Is it ready to install or are additional parts required? It’s understood there will be gaps so rain can get through, but is the material impermeable? Or will the water get through the material itself?
A windshield header channel (not factory) is required for mounting it. It should be used with factory soft top door surrounds for best results. The door surrounds help with those gaps some. The material itself will not be letting water through. It just finds it's way through large gaps for it is only a recreational soft top. Thanks for your inquiry.

Can I use this if I leave my doors on? Can I put my hard top on over it?
You can use it with full steel doors. It can not be used with the hardtop.
