Questions

The product on your screen, the Bestop Soft Upper Doors for Supertop or Sunrider, features rounded upper rear corners. These are engineered strictly to seal against aftermarket soft tops (like the Bestop Supertop) and will not fit or seal against your factory hardtop's door openings.
To make this swap work while keeping your factory hardtop on the vehicle, you must use components designed to convert the rounded half-door profile into a square shape. Here are the exact parts and paths you can take:
Option 1: The Bestop Element Door Route (Recommended for Hardtops)
If you want a fabric upper door that explicitly seals against a factory hardtop while riding on a half-door base, you should use Bestop's Element series.
The Lower Half Doors: Bestop Element Doors in Black Textured (Part #51792-01)
The Matching Upper Soft Doors: Bestop Element Door Upper Windows in Black Denim (Part #51795-15)
Why this works: These specific upper doors are patterned with a square rear corner specifically designed to mate cleanly with the factory YJ hardtop opening.
The Door Striker Pins: Bestop Door Striker Brackets (Part #51251-01)
Why you need this: Your factory full steel doors latch onto a thick, bulky rotary striker bolt on the Jeep's tub. Bestop's tube and fabric half doors use a slim, classic pin latch. You must bolt these adapter brackets onto your B-pillar so the new doors can click shut securely.
Option 2: Using Factory OEM Steel Half Doors
If you prefer to track down a set of factory original factory steel lower half doors from a donor YJ, you will need conversion uppers:
The Lower Half Doors: OEM Jeep YJ lower steel half doors (sourced used).
The Matching Upper Soft Doors: You will need Square-Corner Upper Door Skins with Frames (such as the Rampage Products 89915 or Bestop 51782-15 if available). Standard rounded-corner YJ uppers (like part #11045-15 on your screen) will leave a massive triangular gap at the top rear corner of your hardtop.
The Striker Setup: Just like Option 1, factory lower half doors from 1987–1995 use the slim pin-latch mechanism. If your Sahara currently has the large full-door strikers, you will still need to swap them out for standard pin-style strikers so the half doors can close.
