Works great on my '99 TJ. Little tight on the mirros but works and covers the jeep with a 35" spare on the back.
Questions

Is there tie down grommets on this cover? Was wondering if I could use it to cover my jeep when it’s on the trailer behind our motorhome.

The Quadratec Softbond 5-Layer Car Cover does include plastic grommets and nylon cinch cords specifically designed for added security in windy conditions. However, while it has these features, using this specific cover for towing behind a motorhome is generally not recommended.
Wind Resistance: At highway speeds (60+ mph), the wind force behind a motorhome can be immense. While the grommets and elastic hems provide a snug fit for a stationary vehicle, this cover is not "trailer-rated." The material can catch the wind like a sail, potentially causing the cover to tear, buffet against your paint, or even fly off entirely.
Paint Damage: Flapping at high speeds can turn the inner lining into sandpaper, causing scuffs or "haze" on your Jeep's paint or soft top windows.
Included Hardware: The kit comes with a 90-inch vinyl-coated steel cable and a brass padlock to pass through the grommets. This is intended for theft prevention and wind security while parked, not for the high-tension demands of trailering.

Would you recommend using the 5 layer cover to store a soft top Jeep outside during the winter months? I'm wondering about the cover getting damp and then freezing to the Jeep. Please let me know if this is safe.

Yes, the Quadratec Softbond 5-Layer Car Cover is highly recommended for outdoor winter storage, as it is specifically designed to address the exact concerns you have about moisture and freezing. The "Softbond" technology uses a breathable, multi-layer fabric that is engineered to be water-resistant on the outside while allowing internal condensation to escape.
Why it's safe for winter storage:
Breathability: The most important feature for winter is the cover's ability to "breathe." Because the fabric is porous enough to let air circulate, moisture from the ground or temperature changes doesn't get trapped against your soft top. This significantly reduces the risk of the cover "freezing" to the fabric or windows.
Moisture Wicking: The inner layer is a soft fleece that wicks moisture away from the vehicle. This prevents the "damp" feeling that often leads to mold or mildew growth on soft tops during long periods of storage.
Snow and Ice Protection: While it is water-resistant (not 100% waterproof), it acts as a sacrificial barrier. It is much safer to peel snow and ice off a rugged 5-layer cover than it is to scrape it directly off your sensitive vinyl soft top windows, which can easily crack in sub-freezing temperatures.
UV Resistance: Even in winter, UV rays can degrade soft top fabric and cloud your windows. The 5-layer construction provides maximum UV blockage.
Tips for a Safer Winter Storage
Clean it first: Never put a cover on a dirty Jeep. Dirt trapped between the cover and the soft top can act like sandpaper if the wind moves the cover, causing scratches.
Ensure it's dry: Try to install the cover on a clear, dry day. If you put it over a soaking-wet soft top, the moisture will eventually evaporate out, but it will take much longer in the cold.
Use the Cable Lock: Winter winds can be harsh. Use the included 90" steel cable and lock through the center grommets to ensure the cover doesn't shift or blow away during a storm.
Avoid Window Contact: If your soft top windows are very old and brittle, you can place a soft microfiber towel between the window and the cover for an extra layer of "buffer," though the fleece lining of this cover is usually sufficient.
