Description
The Rampage Frameless soft top installs over the original equipment factory roll bar for a snug fit without the need for additional bows or support hardware. This unique design allows for larger side windows and improved visibility with removable side and rear windows that quickly convert the soft top into an open Island Top. Windows use heavy duty molded tooth zippers and are easily replaced or removed and stored in a special separation panel between the ceiling and roof top which is concealed and protects the windows from scratches or puncture. The fastback style offers improved aerodynamics and is considerably lighter than factory bow style tops. The frameless top comes with upper door skins and front door surrounds.
Will not work on Jeeps with Full Steel Doors.
Original equipment style rear window retaining bar, front upper door frames and half door windshield uprights are necessary for installation.

On my second top. Great top when I wear this one out I will be buying a third one. Hope they don't stop making it for some dumb reason. Quieter then the frame ones. Easy to convert to a bikini top for summer.

To complete a hardtop-to-soft-top conversion for the Rampage Products 109435 Trail Top Soft Top with Tinted Windows in Black Diamond for 92-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ, you will need the following supporting hardware components (as hardtop models lack the factory soft top mounting infrastructure):
Windshield Channel: Required to anchor the front of the top. (Rampage Windshield Channel Part # 901001)
Tailgate Bar Kit: Required to secure the bottom rear edge of the rear window. (Standard YJ Tailgate Bar / Retainer Kit, such as Part # 77015)
Body Tub Rail Kit (Belt Rails): Required along the top edges of the tub for the frameless side channels to tuck into.
Windshield Upright Inserts / Pillar Brackets: Required to secure the front vertical edges of the door surrounds against the windshield frame.

I have a '95 YJ with a Smittybilt soft top. Will the channel across the top of the windshield work with this top or does it have to be a Rampage specific part?
Most windshield channels YJ's use brand to brand are similar in style. It should be okay with a Smittybilt top if you have the rest of the needed hardware for the install. Thanks for your inquiry.
