Unlike most bumpers, this one can be tightened on without trying to reach around the bumper body itself. No one I spoke to could tell me what the openings at the bottom were for, they allow for the 3/4" wrench to back up the nuts during install. The associated winch mount that Fab Fours designed to go with this bumper is an overweight, overpriced extra. You'd be better off to just get a fairlead mount, and you can attach lights either to the sides of the winch or around the bar, using mounts.
