Rugged Ridge 12403.85 LED Tail Lights for 76-06 Jeep CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 Scrambler, Wrangler YJ & TJ

I am very happy with the quality and fitment of these lights. Soooo much brighter than the stock OEM lights on my 89 Wrangler YJ. A few pointers for installation. There are no instructions or wiring diagrams. Here is what I found. Red wire = Running Lights and License Plate Light, Black Wire = Turn Signal/Flasher, Green Wire = Reverse Lights. You will 100% need to purchase and EL12 Flasher, otherwise they will not flash properly ($9 on Amazon). If you use taillight guards/protectors you will find it a little bit tight and tedious installing these because you have to pull the cover off and out of the way to attach the mounting bolts, and the cover is hard wired to the harness, so the cover doesn't come off seperately like the OEM incandescent style. I was able to get mine installed, just took a little carefully directed force to get the cover back on between the housing and the guard cage. Overall I am incredibly happy with these. They are a little more pricy than others out there, but they are the exact same size as the OEM and the come with the license plate light on the drivers side.
