Are these plastic or metal?
Warrior Products Sideplates for the 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ are made of metal - Warrior Products does not manufacture these sideplates in plastic.

How tall are these?
The side plate is approximately 53-5/8” long and 5-5/8” tall

why does this product not fit a Sahara model ?
The Sahara models have the extended flare on the lower rocker that would inhibit installation of these sideplates.
