Description
Now that rock crawling has become the favorite past time for Jeepers and we are putting our Jeeps in places that they were never designed to go, the stresses on the stock Jeep motor mounts are tremendous. With deep gearing, big tires, lockers, and mega torque, the stock mounts can be torn apart in no time at all. That is where these BombProof Motor Mount kits products come into play. They bolt into stock holes in the frame and engine. Black polyurethane bushings insulate from steel to steel contact. These mounts come bare steel, un painted. These mounts will off-set the engine slightly to the drivers side so a transfer case with a passenger side front drive shaft must be installed (Dana 20, 300 etc).

They fit! Thank God! The JM200 bolted right in to my 1976 cj7 jeep's frame and to my V6 engine (off a 1988 S10 blazer 4.3 v6 engine Z vin TBI and th700r4 transmission and cj7 Dana 300 t-case!!!)
This is the third pair of Different engine mounts I've tried. The other mounts were weak looking and NOT one bolted in where I needed them to. And the other mounts didn't give me enough room for the front driveshaft. But FINALLY these just bolted in! And I have plenty of front driveshaft room as it lifts the engine up nicely in the engine compartment! I Love that they are not only strong and heavy duty but they are also good looking too. Now only if they made a good transmission crossmember to go with this combo.. ;)
