Description

works great had a little tiff with the install . but if you think and take your time it will work great not holding the hood is the best part

Will this work with Fiberglass hood?
Per Warrior products they state that they have not tried these kits on a fiberglass hood. The first 2 things to come to mind would be weight and attachment method.
1. The struts are tuned to the weight of an OEM steel hood. If the fiberglass hood is dramatically different (lighter I would assume), then the struts may be too much for the hood and cause stress on the hinges and material around the hinges, not to mention the mounts of the kit.2. They have no idea how to attached the brackets to fiberglass. The kit comes with sheet metal screws, and I know I have seen screws in fiberglass on boats, but I have no idea if that is the way to go or not. Maybe some sort of epoxy or other adhesive?
