Quadratec iVault Security Floor Console in Black Reviews
Installed on a 1992 YJ Islander. Snug fit between seats, but this is not a problem, just a fact. I had to build a 1.5" spacer for the rear end so that it would sit level. This means I had to also source all new fasteners, cuz factory supplied bolts were not long enough.....figure in a trip to the hardware store for your time budget, unless you own your very own bolt bin. There was weather stripping included, but not enough to even seal the main big box.....seems like it ought to come built in already. So bizarre.....so buy weatherstripping too during your extra trip to the hardware store. This thing is NOT dustproof AT ALL with multiple holes in top, sides, and bottom, so if you run w/o top and doors, just be prepared to element-seal all the boxes yourself or expect they'll fill with dust on your first trip. It's a good box, but overall not a comprehensive piece of aftermarket joy. Be prepared to spend more time and personal creativity installing it than you think you should.
This center console is perfect. everything about it has added a great storage location for our CJ7.
Fits great. Very durable material. Great basic security and function.
