on the diagram, it shows sway bar mounts to be mounted underneath. My 2003 TJ has it mounted on the top of the frame just behind the bumper underneath the plastic cover. Will the parts shown on the diagram work for my jeep?

Do these have a slit to ease over the bar or do they have to slide in from the ends ?
Yes, they are cut horizontally to help get around the bar.
