Crown Automotive Heavy Duty Front Leaf Spring Assembly Reviews
Exactly what I was expecting. On step closer on my 79 cj5 rebuild.
I bought these springs to replace the worn-out 4 leaf springs that bottomed out on every bump. They restored my ride to the right height, the suspension is now back to what AMC intended, and it no longer dives on cornering. This was the perfect solution. Came with aft bushings already installed, too. I was afraid this would be too stiff, but it's literally perfect. '83 CJ7, 4.2cyl, AC, hardtop, no lift, stock tires.
I had to knock off a star because one of the springs I got wound up sagging after about 4 months, giving my CJ a decided driver's side lean. Quadratec took care of me and refunded me for that spring after I had already ordered another one. Overall they work for their purpose.
