Description
With the addition of a an ADDCO sway bar, body roll & understeer will be greatly reduced. The result is safer, more balanced suspension. Constructed of high carbon steel that is hardened and stress relieved. Brackets are made of die-formed, 12 gauge, zinc chromate plating with fully enclosed bushings. Newly designed bushings are maintenance free and require no lubrication.

Top notch product! Use silicone grease on the bushings in the hole and on the bar during assembly. They won't squeak! Don't use wheel bearing grease!!!

I am interested in buying this 7/8" rear sway bar -
That will increase the strength versus the factory sway bar BUT there are 2 vertical bars about 9" long each, also used to attach the sway bar.
I would think those would also come with the kit, because if you keep the factory bars, which transfer pressure to and from the sway bar to the body...haven't accomplished much.
I see a few such vertical bars elsewhere on your site but want to be sure those I buy are matched to the strength of the 7/8" Addco sway bar.
The vertical bars you are referring to are the sway bar end links, and your concern is spot-on—retaining weak or worn factory end links when upgrading to a stiffer 7/8" heavy-duty sway bar would introduce flex and rob the new bar of its performance benefits.
