That worked really well. I had the trailer connector installed in under an hour.
I went back later and sealed every connection with self sealing silicon tape (great stuff) and protected the wires using wire loom tubing, which took at least an hour more but was worth the added effort. I prefer max protection for wires and connectors from abrasion and moisture. I'll be adding a bracket for mounting the plug to the bumper, shortly. Might post a pic after that.

Plug-and-play. Once I located the wiring under the rear panels, it plugged right in. Easy install and now I can power my trailer lights.
