Mopar Soft Top Folding Mechanism for 18-27 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Description
The Mopar Soft Top Folding Mechanism is a factory original replacement for the Unlimited JL Wrangler. This spring assist system attaches to the sport bar bracket and holds the pivot arms which shape the rear of the soft top. When you want to lower the top you simply unlock this mechanism with the lever and pull the two sides down to the rear of the vehicle. When it is time to put everything back up, the internal spring will assist and make lifting the assembly a piece-of-cake. Attempting to lower or raise the soft top without first unlocking the mechanism can cause damage to it or the soft top frame work.

How do you remove the old mechanism and install the new?
To replace the soft top folding mechanism on an 18-22 Wrangler JL Unlimited:
Lower the Soft Top: Unlatch the top from the windshield frame and lower it back into the partially open or fully lowered position to relieve tension on the side bows and brackets.
Remove Interior Trim (if necessary): Pop off any interior plastic quarter trim panels or sport bar covers blocking direct access to the side mounting bolts.
Disconnect Side Bows/Hardware: Unbolt the Torx/hex fasteners securing the folding mechanism and side bracket assembly to the sport bar mounting plate or body attachment points.
Swap Mechanisms: Detach the old bracket/mechanism assembly from the fabric bow linkage if reusing existing hardware, or replace the entire modular unit.
Install New Unit: Position the new Mopar Soft Top Folding Mechanism against the mounting plate, thread the bolts in by hand to ensure proper alignment, and torque them down securely.
Reassemble & Test: Reinstall any trim pieces, lock the top back onto the windshield frame, and cycle the mechanism a few times to verify smooth folding operation.

The 11132 9560 & 9561 are for if you do not need the arm and will only need the mechanism attached the 5th bow arm. Thanks for your inquiry.
