Rough Country Spare Tire Delete Kit Reviews
Absolutely love this thing. Easy install, made very well- came with everything that I needed.
Not exact for 2026 JL. Install instructions are great until...
Mounting the rear camera instructions are off because of part fitting. The camera ring spacer and the mounting bracket do not fit. I installed without them and all works fine we will have to see if it holds up.
Wiring the license plate lights are off on instructions as well. You can not get access to the far end of the wiring harness that they say to slide the wire through. I ended up taping the wire to the harnessed bunch and ran the wire through a small opening where the door stop enters the taillight assembly bay. Again, hoping it holds up.
All other instructions are spot on and the product is great quality and visually appealing. I'm not a fan of having about an inch of wire open to the public once the install is completed but i guess rather than making the size bigger to cover this it saves money keeping the item smaller.
Decent setup but it doesn't even mount flush with the tailgate. Not exactly water tight with exposed wires.
