1971 Jeepster Commando Hurst Edition

One of approximately 100 original Hurst-modified Jeepsters, this restored example features the 225 cubic inch Dauntless V6 engine, the TH400 automatic transmission, and a number of Hurst badges. Other features include the red and blue stripes over champagne white paint, and unusual looking hood scoop with a built-in 8,000 rpm tachometer, and a Hurst dual-gate shifter.

While all Hurst Jeepsters were 4WD, they were outfitted with Goodyear G70x15 Polyglas tires. They may have been sporty, but they were best kept on paved roads.
