Hey Rob here for Quadratec.com. Today we're checking out the Paramount Automotive Hydro Series Fender Flares for the 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL both two-door and four-door unlimited models. It’s also worth noting that the front fenders are compatible with the 20 newer Jeep Gladiator JT however at the time of shooting this video Paramount Automotive does not yet offer a matching rear fender flare for the Gladiator. The Hydro Series Fender Flares not only change up the look of your Wrangler but also offer you some additional tire coverage because they are wider than the factory flares. In fact our front fender measures in at nine inches wide away from the body at the widest point of the flare while that rear flare measures in at seven and a half inches wide. Now in addition to the extra tire coverage with we're also going to get additional clearance for a larger overall tire diameter size in fact our Jeep here in the shop is sitting on a set of 35 x 12.50 Toyo Open Country A/T tires wrapped around a set of Quadratec Morphic wheels with a stock height suspension and as you can see this Jeep should have no problem at all with any rubbing or clearance issues whether we're headed down the road or down the trail. At first glance the Hydro Series Fender Flares may look like a molded plastic flare that is of course until you lay hands on these and realize they're actually a heavy duty steel fender flare. That’s because Paramount is using a single piece of 12 gauge cold rolled steel and forming them under extreme pressure using a dye form to give us this great molded look with the strength of a fabricated steel fender. They're finished off in a fine texture satin black powder coat finish and backed by Paramount's lifetime structural warranty. Once you have your factory fenders removed from your Wrangler these new Hydro Series Fenders are going to install very easily with no modification to the sheet metal of your Wrangler, in fact the front fenders are going to bolt right up with the new provided hardware while that rear fender is going to require a few nutserts to be installed into the body of your Wrangler into the existing holes with no drilling required and you can complete that job with a simple set of hand tools or if you want to make it a little bit easier well you can pick up a nutsert setting tool like the one I'm using by clicking on the info button. Now you'll also notice that I currently have no inner fender liners installed. You can choose to reuse your existing factory inner fender liners with some trimming required or optionally you can purchase the Paramount Automotive inner fender liners available separately. Back up here to our front fenders they do feature built-in led lighting with easy plug and play wiring for a quick connection to the factory plug here found in your fender and if we go up here to the front corner you'll see we've got an amber led marker light on the side along with a high intensity dual function forward facing led light that's going to give us our white daytime running light and amber turn signal function. Now if you guys want to get more information or to purchase a set of Paramount Automotive Hydro Series Fender Flares for your 2018 or newer Jeep Wrangler JL or your Gladiator you can click that info button head over to Quadratec.com.
