Intra-Pod is a sturdy, plastic center console designed for '76-'95 CJ-7, CJ-8 & Wrangler with a pre-cut woofer housing, a sturdy metal-mesh grille for most 8" woofers and a concealed amplifier cavity. Two large integrated cup holders, a locking storage compartment and pockets up front provide great storage. The newly updated amp is slightly larger than the mounting cavity under the console and will have to be mounted elsewhere.
The Intra-Pod’s sealed air chamber design provides high quality audio response with very tight bass. The amp cavity is recessed in the base of the unit and is vented to keep the amplifier running cool. The Intra-Pod can be purchased emptyor with audio components, which include the following:
A bridgeable 2-channel Legacy® amplifier with built-in crossover that provides up to 200 watts of continuous power and is fully adjustable with variable bass boost.
A Legacy® 8” subwoofer rated at 400 watts RMS with a polymica cone to withstand the elements.
An amplifier installation kit with all the necessary wires, fuses and connectors.
