It's a brand new Flame Red Wrangler X that we purchased back in '07. Our modestly optioned Wrangler features a 6-speed manual transmission,
air conditioning with power windows and door locks. The small street tires are mounted on wimpy, stock wheels and these will
have to go. The side steps are fine around town but don't expect those to hold up well on the trails. The venerable Wrangler is still quite
handsome and off road capable "right out of the box" but it's truly amazing how much more you can get from this vehicle with a few modifications
from Quadratec. A few changes to the ride height with a custom tire and wheel package can transform a vehicle to something that
stands out in the crowd.
What are "Stages" anyway?
Realizing that no single Jeep build-up will appeal to every kind of enthusiast, we decided to design and create three very different Wrangler
stages based on the same original vehicle. These three stages illustrate dramatically different types of build-ups that you can do yourself.
Each stage features components to appeal to different tastes, uses and budgets. Some of the components can be used in all of the stages,
but each of the stages makes for a truly a unique vehicle. Quadratec provides the "Essential" building blocks and the expertise you need to
design and construct your own customized rig. We hope you'll enjoy a lasting sense of satisfaction & accomplishment every time a stranger
comes up and tells you "hey, nice Jeep!"
Our stock Headlights just aren't enough! We want to upgrade
them and add auxiliary lights for extra brightness.
The factory bumpers are OK, but we want to give
our vehicle more style and more protection.
Even though our Freedom Hardtop is ideal, the
summer is coming and it's time to remove that
top and do some open air driving!
Our '07 Wrangler is sitting on a set of factory tires
that are good for now. But we want to give our Jeep
a bigger, better look!
Factory Flares are a good look but we're going to
swap them for a fresh new look.
Our Wrangler handles good, but with so many
options out there why not upgrade?
