Reviews for Borla ATAK® 2.5" Dual Axle Back Exhaust for 18-20 Jeep Wrangler JL 3.6L
Quick and safe delivery with great packaging. Installation was done in just over an hour, no problems. The sound is okay but on a 30 mile trip at an average speed of 70 mph .. I’d have to get used to it. Still, I give it a thumbs up while off roading.
installation was easily
Great addition!! Super easy install. Seems to improve performance. Not too sure about fuel economy though as you find yourself stamping on the gas just to hear it!!!!!
Fits well. Tips are big enough without being oversized. Nice sound idling and under acceleration. Most importantly no significant resignation at highway speeds when in 8th gear. Drove me nuts with my other exhaust. Fitment was great and generally well constructed.
Reinforcing the previous reviews. Very well packaged, easy install, and it's got that slight growl to it. Love the look.
Reviews seem good, aggressive sound.
Sounds great and install was very easy. 2 guys and a wrench set..done.
Extremely happy with this purchase! I initially decided to go with the Magnaflow exhaust because of the majority of good reviews for my 2020 JL Rubicon, but after installing the exhaust it hugged the rear bumper extremely tight. In addition to bad fitment, the sound (while deep) was not much louder than the stock exhaust. That said, I ended up returning it and going with the exhaust I had initially picked out (Borla Atak Axle Back), which I couldn't be more pleased with. The sound and fit is perfect. Not too loud, and no groan when cruising, but when you get on the gas you know its there (and so does everyone in the vicinity). Exactly what I was after! Also, worth mentioning is how well they package it when compared to Magnaflow. The Magnaflow came in a box almost 3x the size of the exhaust, allowing it to flow all around in transit (Possibly the reason for my bad fitment), but Borla packs it very nice and secure (no movement). And it even comes with your very own Borla hat:)
After asking the helpful staff at Quadatec whether or not this exhaust would fit into a RHD export JL (Australia) I took the plunge and ordered one. It came with relatively no issue via post. Installation was simple with few hand tools and Elbow grease to get the stock exhaust off. I couldn’t be happier with how to turned out. Deep exhaust note without being obnoxious.
I installed this exhaust with the K&N 63 Series AirCharger Intake a while ago and I love both the performance and aggressive sound gained from adding both!
Only thing disappointing about this exhaust is the price. No issues with install, packaging was done very well and even included a black Borla hat. I drive a manual transmission and love the sound during deceleration. It’s advertised as the loudest street legal exhaust, but it’s not obnoxious.
