Love the look and the angled carrier for a lift. Many issues with rattling though. Through many trials and a few months of back and forth conversations with one of the engineers, still can't get the rattle (squeak) to go away. Chalking this up to the Jeep life!

I thought this was going to be awesome, seemed very heavy duty and has a great look. Havoc dropped the ball on this one though!
Problem#1.First delivery did not have the correct bearings for the shaft size, took forever, but I finally received a replacement swing out tire carrier portion, because Quadratec cared and wanted to resolve the issue, they sent the entire part and requested I take what parts were needed and then return the rest that didn’t fit. The manufacturer had obviously made a change because the new swing out matched the post and bearing sizes that came with the first bumper, appears they sent one new and one older adaptation of parts in my first delivery. Got it all installed, looked great and even was working well for a little while, until the worst happened. Problem #2. The shaft that the swing out bolts to, snapped off at the base. The entire spare tire and swing out was hanging off the back of my JKU damaging my tailgate in the process. I will be seeking a full return for this item, and will update this review if this gets resolved the way it should. See attached pictures.

DO NOT BUY! I don’t typically write reviews, however this is a serious concern. The tire carrier bolt that attaches the swing arm to the bumper snapped clean off! This is the SECOND time this has happened. The bumper and tire carrier may look nice, but it is complete garbage. Honestly, I am so happy I noticed it both times before I was driving long distance because it is a huge safety hazard and could ruin the entire tailgate of your Jeep. Again, this is the SECOND time this has happened.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please do not buy this bumper. I should have read the reviews before I bought it. It does not come with the correct hardware to install the tire carrier portion. The bumper portion was great and easy to install. But when it came to the second half, the tire carrier, it was insane.

The instructions state you need 1 large bearing and 1 small bearing. We were given 2 small bearings. Our issue is not with Quadratec. They were awesome. They tried their hardest to ship out replacements, find the missing part, and fulfill our need.

However, Quadratec is not the one who packaged this product. We were directed to Havoc directly. Then Havoc redirected us to their hardware supplier, Omix. After trying weeks to get in contact with Omix and no answer, we decided to return everything as a whole. Weeks later, Omix wrote us back to strip down the protective coating of the small bearing to get it to fit over the spindle portion of the bumper, which we will not do. They stated the directions were incorrect. However, the small bearing is not even close to fitting down the spindle.

Again, Quadratec was awesome. No issue with them at all. Customer service was amazing. The product itself however, please don't spend your money.

My Wife purchased this for me for Christmas. Came packed good enough.
I was missing the spare tire mount. That was ok, since mine worked ( with some new holes drilled ) I needed to grind off the bolts on the trailer hitch, no worries there. I was able to integrate the factory rear light ( as this is required by my state ) The peg was painted, and there was no way the bearings were going on this. Using some 440 sand paper, I removed the paint, and thinned it a bit till the bearings fit. The tire bounced a bit, but I figured this 1 1/4" post is pretty solid. Well it was not. Going over regular bumps in the road, the stupid thing snapped. Luckily the tire was attached to the rear door, so it did not come off and kill somebody!!!!! Turns out the post is cast, not solid. I will contact them in the morning to see how we go about replacing this. The bumper is great, the spare tire holder is a piece of garbage..... So disappointed..

I love the bumper! No idea on the tire carrier though since I can't use it. Initially when I placed the order Quadratec was good and gave a notice the bumper would take a while to arrive because of COVID and supply, no issues there. They still sent me the tire carrier back in September even though I didn't receive the bumper until November. Once I went to install everything seemed easy until I got to the installation of the Hitch receiver and hitch plate. They sent me the wrong bolts for the hitch plate they were not long enough and too small to even thread into the hitch plate. I was able to get those at the hardware store no issues. The next issue was when I tried to install the tire carrier. They sent me the wrong bearings. For one I was supposed to receive one small bearing and one large bearing instead I received 2 of the same bearings. Plus neither bearing fits over the post for the tire carrier. I reached out to Quadratec who told me because it isn't their brand product I needed to reach out to Havoc. I reached out to Havoc 3 different times before they told me that the parts is handled by Omix. I reached out to Omix and created a ticket at the end of November and have not heard anything and it is now mid-January. In summary if they improved the customer service aspect and got you the correct parts I would recommend this bumper. But, as it stands I would not because if you get the wrong parts your on your own and paying additional out of pocket cost to fully utilize it.

I bought this bumper back in September, it delivered early November. Put the bumper on to find out I’m missing the bigger bearing, the bigger seal, received the wrong size cap and missing the piece that connects the tire carrier to the back hatch of the Jeep. I’ve contacted the website I’ve got it from, contacted havoc, and Omni, the company that havoc pointed me to. It’s almost Christmas and still don’t have what I need after receiving no reponse. If you’re lucky and you get the right stuff, you’ll be happy. If you don’t, good luck. Check hardware before installing. Send it back on their dime. Don’t bother waiting it’s not worth it.

To start the product was backorder, whis was understandable given the pandemic. Product was packed extremely well, no parts were damaged. Unpacked everything but found no parts list or installation instructions. Checked the internet, could not find a parts list or install instructions, but I did find a video. Awesome, wrong.... The video gives you a general installation but if you have some mechanic skills you can easily figure it out. The parts list would save a lot of time when trying to figure out the hardware.
Started the install, realized that I was sent all 3/8" lock washers, when you actually need 1/2" lock washers for 13 bolts. Bought my own 1/2" lock washers to finish assembling the bumper. Started to assemble the tire carrier and realized I was sent 2 small bearings, when you actually need a small and a large bearing. Again a parts list would have saved me a lot of headaches. Contacted HAVOC directly, NO help. Contacted Quadratic on Monday, they said I would have a new parts kit by Wednesday. This is Saturday and still no parts. If I was responsible for customer service I would be embarrassed to read this review. I hope someone uses this information to improve the experience for the next customer.
