This is one of the best mods on my 2019 JLU MOAB. So much fun to pop open the roof on a nice day. Takes just a few seconds to open or close. I’ve even closed and latched it moving at 30 MPH. Makes running my Jeep even more fun!
Yes there is more wind noise than with the Freedom Panels, but not so much that it bothers me.

My only disappointment is that Bestop only makes the retractable sunshade for the JL. I’ve tried using other sunshades but without the retractable, it makes opening and closing the top, extremely difficult from inside the Jeep. I still gave it five stars because it’s such a great mod for my JLU.

I love this product! Beautifully made, very easy to install (thank you Bob Jarrell for the excellent tips in the install video - made me double check the seating of the side rails). No need to tell everyone what a boon this is as opposed to removing, storing and replacing the front freedom panels. A "no-brainer" upgrade!

Love this top. It is the best upgrade I could have gotten for my wife. She can open her roof easily, at will, whenever she wants. As far as the bad reviews of leaking and short bolts, I think this had to be installation human error. I think this as I had to install and reinstall a few times due to my error. You have to make sure the top is seated correctly under the plastic frame prior to fastening with the bolts. If not, the top does not seat correctly onto the jeep which would cause the appearance of short bolts and create leaking. The instructions do not cover this important step.

These tops are very well engineered, nice tight fit, no leaks. My first order was lost, in transit, by UPS. Quadratec promptly sent out another one, best customer service around. I highly recommend the Bestop Sunrider and Quadratec.

This top is AWESOME! We wanted something easy to use to allow my wife to have the open air feeling on the way to work and back, and when we are 4-wheeling, without having to deal with storing the freedom panels in the Wrangler. We went with the thicker material and it doesn't seem much louder on the road than the freedom panels were. Installation was easy and all the supplied bolts are sufficient. The "Z" clips are a bit of a challenge, especially if you have big hands or fingers, so recruit a small handed friend, and feed them beer for taking care of it for you. Once installed the top is absolute cinch to use. It also doesn't leak in the car wash. High quality and, while expensive, one of the best things we have added to our JL to enjoy what owning a Jeep is all about.

Great top. Looks great. I heard it could be a little noisy so I went with the upgraded model. Not sure if it is quieter, I don't have anything to compare to, but it seems fine. Its a Jeep!!! One of the other reviews complained about the bolts being too short. I now know what he meant. The final bolts that connect the rails to the door rails could be another 1/4" longer. Would have made install a real snap. But they work. Just takes a little more doing

Absolutely love this top! Very simple to install (less than 30 minutes with 1 person). It looks and feels sturdy. Simple to open 1-handed when you're at a stop. Love having the hard top on, and the ability to open the top when the winter weather permits.

Works great on my JT. It does sit on top of the Mopar handle grips but you can get plenty of bolt threads into the nutplate on the Sunrider mount. Highly recommend using over the freedom panels. Sound is no different from the panels.

Best purchase so far for my JL! At first, I was a little put off by what seemed like a steep price. But once installed, the material quality, engineering, fit and convenience make it all worth it. Installation, is relatively simple, but those z-clips are a bit of a hassle. Without a doubt, trying to fit those z-clips results in torn up fingers and a lot of swearing! But, once installed, the convenience is just amazing! Flip open the locks and push back with one hand right from drivers seat. Same to close it too. I think it's faster to open the top than to roll down the windows! Completely removes the hassle of dealing with those freedom panels, which I just bagged and stored in the garage. Also, gone through a few heavy rain showers and no leaks at all so far. A really solid purchase and definitely worth every penny of what seemed like a relatively high price point.
